RAIN - The forgotton miracle

Namaskaram

Wet moist water that spoils my dressing, gets in my shoes, this is what I thought of the rain before. Especially when I am all dressed up for work, parties, wedding or what so ever. Even when I am going out, I'd prefer it not to rain, because it just gives me this very uncomfortable feeling, that everything around me feels like moist and wet. All these changed, thanks to Yoga and Master Nava.

Have you all heard of the Panchabhootas? Yes the five elements according to yogic science.

WATER (JALA)

FIRE (AGNI)

EARTH (PRITVHI)

AIR (VAYU)

SKY/SPACE (AKASHA)

I will write a post on this soon, still strengthening my views, and understanding on this topic, so I can write with more confidence. We need to report the facts right remember ;)

For now let us keep it simple. RAIN is one of the strongest content of these five elements.

The WATER evaporates into AIR because of HEAT/FIRE and go up to the SKY/SPACE and falls down again as WATER back to the EARTH.
How powerful does that sound to you. Imagine the amount of prana (energy/chi) that the rain contains when it has gone through the transformation of all the 5 elements.

Ever since I learned this fact, I started looking at the rain as a great blessing. Everytime it rains, and I have to out, get into my car or anything at all, I don't look for an umbrella, instead I look for a chance to walk under the rain. Believe it or not, the touches of the rain drops on my skin is really rejuvenating, and I have this cool vibration at the crown of my head and it lasts for hours. Just its touches can give you such experience, how much can drinking it can do for you and your body from within?

Drinking rain water? That's absurd, some of you might think. It is not healthy looking at the dust around us, the chemical we have in the air, it is not healthy. I hear you mate!

Living in the city, where we have the highest numbers of air pollution, i totally understand the setback you all are getting at and i will tell you how i can solve your problem and still let you drink unpolluted rain water.

You will need the following:-
  1. Thoroughly washed Earthen pot
  2. Neem leaves/Copper coin

When it rains,
1. After a 5 minutes of the rain starting, leave your earthen pot outside to collect some rain water. Waiting for 5 minutes, will allow the first rain to wash out the dust and chemical in the air.
2. Put in 2 neem leaves/copper coin. This will help to nullify any germs/bacteria that exist in the water
3. Drink it all you want :)

Ingesting rain water gives you a very positive energy. Not forgetting the coolness of the water, iced water is nothing compared to it. Rain water just has the natural coolness that makes your body feel like it is releasing cool air from within. There are people that I have met mentioning that drinking rain water have cured their joint related medical issues and other medical conditions. Even a man who is related to a friend, of a friend of mine, was unable to walk due to some issues with his knee, was able to walk again with a stick by drinking the rain water. It is hard to explain why and how.

Although there is still research proving that the rain water is untreated water and not meant for our human body, yogic science sees it differently, everything here is about prana and rain with no doubt contains a very high energy.
Just as how we are unable to explain the force that causes the electrons in an atom to move around the nucleus, the same reason why, it is hard to define how the rain water truly heals diseases, and brings good energy to your body. It carries an unexplainable force, which we call as Prana in yoga terms.
"The electrons of an atom are bound to the nucleus by theelectromagnetic force. Likewise, a group of atoms can remain bound to each other by chemical bonds based on the same force, forming a molecule. - Wikipedia"
The vital prana, being neutral and pervading the whole body, has no particular function like the senses. It is the soul's primary agent for governing the senses. from Vedanta Sutra 2.4.11 and Shriman Bhagavatam verses 4.16.12
With that quote, Goodnight
