Majestic Nature

Amongst the majestic trees, wide blue sky, strong branches and smooth leaves.

They grow to be these majestic living nature without speech, luxurious food and extreme socializing. They take from the nature to sustain and return the favor back to the nature of the rest of the living organism to live life.
Majestic Nature as always...

During the recent shatkarma session with Master Nava and the team, Master shared a very good insight on prana and our body.

"The same prana in the sun is in you, you are a part of the greater energy that created you, the world, the sun, the nature, therefore the same prana in the nature is in you," -Master Navanesan

Well, I am not sure if he was thought this by his masters or previous teachers, but i am going to quote him because he said this to me. It might be a very simple fact, but it is very powerful and if you dwevle into it a little longer it makes you think that this body that we are all in is capable of far more things that we will never be able to decipher but experience with the teaching of yoga.

Speaking of prana, today I am going to share with you a yoga practice on enhancing energy movement in your body and how to utilise that energy to cure, heal and upkeep your internal organs.

My Yoga Routine

Namaskaram

People ask me how do I find the time to fit in yoga practices into my day. Yoga makes me happy, very happy. When i go by a day that I do not get to do some yoga practices, I find myself feeling sad. Yoga practice, any sort, it can be asanas, meditation or a simple headstand in the morning, can rejuvenate my spirit for the day. I would feel happy, like I just moved a whole mountain ;)

When we do it in class, everything feels very lengthy and time consuming, how do we make our own yoga routine with selected types of asanas to energize the body.

Ever since, I have lost my sleep at early hours in the morning, I decided to see it as a good sign for me to include something to the extra time to compensate my beauty sleep. And so i did, i included yoga.

In the beginning, it has been just 6 rounds of sun salutation. Then I began including lateral stretches and forward bending to loosen my side and back muscles. Little by little, the 1/2 hour yoga time became an hour of yoga practice.

Chakras

Namaskaram,

Below is a good write up that I got from Yoga Philosophy Facebook Page. It talks about the 7 charkas in our body and what each and every one of that chakras means. The write up describes the dimensions that each chakra opens up to you and what controls them.

Yoga Philosophy - 7 Chakras

In Hindu and tantric/yogic traditions and other belief systems chakras are energy points or knots in the subtle body. They are located at the physical counterparts of the major plexuses of arteries, veins and nerves. Chakras are part of the subtle body, not the physical body, and as such are the meeting points of the subtle (non-physical) energy channels, called nadiis. Nadiis are channels in the subtle body through which the life force (prana), or vital energy moves. Various scriptural texts and teachings present a different number of chakras. There are many chakras in the subtle human body according to the tantric texts, but there are 7 chakras that are considered to be the most important ones.
